Bobcats AAA Program

Phoenix, Arizona: For the final roster spot, the Bobcats 98 AAA went searching one more time in Alaska to find another solid defenseman. Ron Filion received two calls the same day from Bobcats hockey personnel, both saying that Ty Scott was the player we were looking for.

This big defenseman impressed many during a tournament in Phoenix with his shot, skating, overall skills and personality of the ice. That is all it took for coach Filion to reach out to Ty’s parents and bring them on board.

 “Mr. Dube and Mr. Jones both called singing the same praises about Ty, both know exactly what is needed to compete in spring” said Coach Filion. “After a few conversations with Mrs. Scott, Ty was a Bobcat. It will be Ty's first spring AAA experience. His overall talent paired with the experience of our captain Ethan will be a serious pair of defensemen” remarked Filion.
