It is with great pleasure that I endorse Hockey 2, LLC and the Bobcats AAA program. I have known Ron Filion for over 25 years.   In our youth we were teammates.  In early adulthood we managed a professional team and built a youth AAA program together. His knowledge, training, and teaching abilities have proven to be very successful during his professional hockey career.

Additionally, Ron played an important part of my comeback to the NHL in 2009.  His on ice training and positive support helped me realize my dream of coming back in the NHL, which I successfully accomplished with the San Jose Sharks.   

I wish Hockey2, LLC and the Bobcats the very best.

I appreciate the structure and instruction of the Hockey2, LLC program. My son attended their AAA camp in San Diego and had fun learning with the other students in the camp. The coaching staff and the high intensity of the drills were impressive.

I have had the privilege of being involved in one of Ron’s hockey development programs.  In reflection of this experience, one of the first things that came to my mind was his positive affect he has on his students. The program was intense, well structured and everyone was enjoying himself or herself.

Ron and I had the opportunity to work together in 2006 when the Phoenix Coyotes and Roadrunners were affiliated.  During that time our AHL team had to rely heavily on Ron and his ECHL team. Due to many injuries to our NHL and AHL teams, Ron had the responsibility to prepare our young prospects, which he did very well.

I am convinced that Hockey2, LLC will develop many great players in the near future.

I met Ron during his tenure as Head Coach with the Phoenix Roadrunners through our mutual friend Claude Lemieux. Recentlly I've had the opportunity to work with Ron on the bench for the Bobcats AAA program, which my 10 year-old son Ryan had the privilege to be a part of during the 2010 Spring/Summer season. I really noticed a difference in Ryan's play after working with Ron a couple of months.

Players from the Southwestern US are now gaining the attention and respect of top level programs and organizations due to Coach Filion's continued commitment to the development of elite youth hockey here in Phoenix.

His previous experience at the professional level has acquired him the knowledge to see what it takes to develop young players into skilled athletes--and he has continued to apply this to his coaching today.  His ability to teach and develop life's lessons through the game of hockey sets Ron apart from many people I've coached with in the past.

I look forward to the opportunity of working with Ron again in the future.

Ron has a great balance between performance and life lessons. His energy and positive attitude are remarkable.
