Bobcats AAA Program
February 3, 2011
Phoenix, Arizona: “Building from the back up is always a good thing in hockey, this is why the return of Trip Hutchinson as the 98 AAA Bobcats goalie represents so much.” commented Head Coach Ron Filion. “Trip has been with us since we started the 98 group, and not once has he ever disappointed the coaching staff or his teammates. He loves big games and plays in them, which gives us a solid chance to win. He drives me nuts at times before the games but he is a great kid and is very easy to coach. Working with him this winter was also a blast” said Filion.

Phoenix, Arizona: Tripp Hutchinson has announced his return in net for the Bobcats 98 AAA team. His return represents a huge step in the right direction for the program. Tripp’s performance last season was very impressive; by doing so, he showed he could lead any AAA program.
“The kid was just phenomenal last year, it was a no brainer to select our first goalie--lucky for us, he wanted to come back” said Filion. “Before our first game last year we had to rush him to get dressed, he was just hanging out taking is time; it made me a little nervous. After that first period, I turned to my assistants and told them we should maybe leave him alone, he was playing great” said Filion “Having a goalie that gives you a chance to compete every game is a huge advantage, this is what he did for us last season” concluded Coach Ron.
