Phoenix, Arizona: The Bobcats are proud to announce the return of one of their best players for the past few years. Jake Durflinger is back and this is great news!! “Being able to bring Jake’s back is huge for our program; from day one he has been one of our top producers,” said Filion. “Durf brings more then just goals to our group, he doesn’t shy away from hard work and physical play, he is an inspiration to our team. I know the boys will be happy to hear of his return.” remarked Filion.

Bobcats AAA Program
December 10, 2009
Phoenix, Arizona: The Bobcats AAA program is proud to announce the return of Jake Durflinger (97) to its Spring/summer program. Jake is joining coach Ron for a second year and this time it is with the big team. This winter season Jake is playing for his local program, the San Jose Jr. Sharks.
“Last year after our final game with the team white, I told Jake that he could play on my team any time, the big team that is” said Coach Filion. “To be honest he would have been a huge asset for us against the Minnesota blades, but before the tournament I did not really know Jake,” said Filion.
Durflinger was highly recommended by one of Filion's contacts, and thoroughly impressed the coaching staff in Chicago. “Jake is a power forward with skills and a work ethic second to none; with him on your team you know the boys will be focused before each game,” said Filion.
“Two weekends ago at the LA Jr. Kings AAA event I believe he was in the top 5 in scoring, in addition to a great number of hits. He will definitely be one of our go to guys this season" added Coach Ron.
